a funny story.

i am happily sleeping, having taken several xanax. the doorbell is ringing, the phone is ringing...finally.

all the ringing wakes me up. i came stumbling through to open the door...and find blondie! come to get the box of boxes. so we are chatting and things are good. and i start to let the dogs out...ashley notices the back yard and makes a face. immediately, i say..."i really am going to mow". she says she was actually wondering what happened to the fence...to which i say "i really am going to brace it this weekend"...

at which point she says to me (me who hasn't looked outside)..."carla, you might want to move the tree on top of it first."

yeah...true story.

so...this is the back yard...

this is also a great example of man vs nature...

fence building crew and persons with chainsaws...please call me.
