on a different note...

i am worried about someone.

the ever-widening inverstigation into prisoner abuse just has me concerned.

of course, my dad was a "baby-killer" in vietnam...and i know his stories, and his purple heart, and his alcoholism, and the nightmares, and the anger, and the terror...a generation fathers out there like that.

fathers who will fall down drunk into creeks and drown because they are too ashamed to call out for help. don't even know how they got there. they got drafted.

and they never got any help.

and the army did learn. but enough?

enough to help these kids? and they are kids.

so i am more concerned about you, really. no news article i have found that put you there, then. except maybe today. and maybe i am wrong about the prison. and maybe. because i know you. and you wouldn't do that, i don't even entertain that thought. i just worry.

you couldn't even bear to see it...and if you did it would hurt you so bad psychologically that...

i want to hear from you.
