tis a book...gimme gimme

but of course...

it only took a few minutes to find it...

i remembered the name, but good pictures of the right folios are hard to find...or it is just me.

i can't believe i didn't remember it sooner. not that i feel any better really...

the story is fascinating to me. it was a mrs. mize who first told us about it. don't know what it is? hover around the picture and see if you can grasp the knowledge from the filename....whaaaaa

so there are many parts to this book....and it is latin and vernacular gaelic (alba). the older tract, The Gospel Tracts, were believed to have been written in the ninth century. i am fairly sure these are in latin, with sidenotes...though the 'illuminated figures' speak as well. the funny thing about this tract is that it appears to have been written by a single hand. the celtic tract, believed to have been written in the eleventh or twelfth century has at least five different hands...and multiple types of ink.

i am going to have to study again...i need a copy of the original and a translated version of the apostles' creed. i know the parts of the books like the land i grew up on...but this last segment has meaning.

yet where the hell do the runes fit in? and what is up with the white book?

irridescent...not just white.

not a book of names...a book of knowledge.

this is a bit of a puzzle even to me...

the two don't match, which means it must be magical thinking....because surely the whole world is not full of opposites? eh, hehehe...as if opposites are actually opposites anyway.

oh...i confused myself. is it black and white (piaget's model) or is it magical?

i have an excuse for all of it...i'm nuts.

*aghast* ...truly
