loud crashing noise

so this a.m. i was sitting on the ball in the living room, smoking and watching the news. debating about breakfast and playing fetch with Mo.

i threw the ball and had just about decided on toast when something horrible happened. something ...

have you ever heard a loud banging crash come from the direction of something really breakable??

yeah.

should not play ball in the house.

with all the pc work i have been and will be doing...it was way easier at this point in my life to take my computer out of the desk and put it back on top with one side off and the connections handy. i've been drive and part swapping a lot to build the last machine i built. yeah.

so...apparently, when i threw the ball it went behind the printer stand and my baby boy wanted it really bad and so he kept trying to get it, pushed the printer cord too far...

and made my entire computer crash with great noise on to the floor.

all told, a little over three feet it fell. hit with a jarring thud, knocked all drives loose. took me just a few to secure and check things...oh, and a few more to hurl cuss words and stare in disbelief...

but you know, i build them better than that.

cause everything's just fine now.
